BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise 2018 Release Notes
What’s new in BlueCielo Publisher 2017
The new features and improvements of BlueCielo Publisher include:
ID | Description |
---|---|
MRE-691 | Microsoft SQL Server failover clusters are now supported. |
MRE-1608, MRE-2918 |
When the Teigha DGN and Teigha DWG rendering modules are used with their SHX as geometry or TTF as geometry options enabled, text in the generated renditions can now be searched with the Advanced Find command in Adobe Reader. |
MRE-1609 | The Teigha DWG rendering module has a new setting Adobe PRC support that, when enabled, renders ACIS 3D objects in the source drawing as Product Representation Compact (PRC) data in the rendition. Objects can be rendered either as boundary representations (BREP option) or as mesh representations (MESH option). |
MRE-1611 |
The Teigha DWG and Teigha DGN rendering modules now provide options to specify pen style table files to apply during rendering. |
MRE-1653 |
A new Custom rendering profile is provided that can be used to generate renditions with 3rd party applications. |
MRE-2123 | The Autodesk Inventor rendering module options have been simplified. |
MRE-2189 | The behavior of file extension mappings when rendering profiles are added or removed from a publishing job has been made more consistent and intuitive. |
MRE-2193 | Resolves an issue that excluded the rendition from an export package if its filename and extension were the same as the source document. Now, the publishing job will append the text .rend to the filename so that you can distinguish between the files. For example, if a publishing job creates an export package that contains the source document MyDocument.pdf, the rendition will be named MyDocument.rend.pdf. |
MRE-2252 | The Teigha DWG rendering module now supports rendering multiple layouts in the same source document to individual renditions. |
MRE-2266 | A new publishing job type Export Package has been added that creates packages of documents in either a Windows file system or in Meridian Portal. |
MRE-2325 | The rendition property value Monochrome is now correctly detected by the Acme CAD Converter rendering module. |
MRE-2403 | The default setting of the Content option when exporting a package has been changed to Other - Publish unrendered. |
MRE-2520 | A new option Lock documents to package when sent has been added to package export job definitions. When enabled, only documents that can be locked to the package can be added to the package. The documents are locked in the source vault when the package is sent to the destination system. |
MRE-2635 |
Fixed a problem with commas in VBScript expressions in the Destination file name option of publishing jobs when the Windows locale was not English. |
MRE-2679 |
Meridian Enterprise Server now supports Microsoft Windows Server 2016. |
MRE-2692 | Server names longer than 15 characters in rendering profiles now appear correctly for assigning to publishing jobs. |
MRE-2701 |
Microsoft SharePoint 2016 is now supported. For specific version and limitation information, see the Meridian Enterprise Supported Software document for this release. |
MRE-2764 | Fixed a problem that occurred when there were over 50 document types in Documentum. |
MRE-2843, MRE-3739 |
The Teigha DGN and Teigha DWG rendering modules now use the Teigha 4.2.2 libraries. |
MRE-3033 | The model space view is now correctly excluded when the All paperspace views option of an AutoVue rendering profile is selected and the Use job advanced rendering settings option is enabled. The Model only option now also works correctly if the AutoVue patch p22378781 is applied. |
MRE-3135 |
SolidWorks 2017 is now supported by the SolidWorks rendering module. |
MRE-3170 | The Use line weights option of the Acme CAD Converter rendering module has been enhanced with new options Plot style and line weight and Plot style only. |
MRE-3287 |
The Revit rendering module option View name for IFC output has been changed to Filter view name. The option accepts one view name from which to include elements in the rendition output. For DWG, DWF, and image output formats, the option now supports view categories and more flexible forms of specifying the views to be rendered. If no view name is specified, the default view to be rendered is determined by a predefined priority. |
MRE-3348 |
The Acme CAD Converter rendering module has a new option Font search path to resolve SHX fonts during rendering. |
MRE-3831 |
The order of the rendering profiles on the RENDERING PROFILES page of a publishing job no longer matters. The order of processing is determined only by the action to which the profile is assigned on the FILE EXTENSION MAPPING page: FIRST, SECOND, or THIRD. |
